Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe: The promising Dutch talent Jeroen Mul, former F3 driver, who has already successfully driven the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 GT3 at the 24h race in Dubai, will participate in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe as well as in the World Final in Sepang (Malaysia). The 23 years old Jeroen will be the first Leipert Motorsport driver, who is one of the six drivers in the provisional list of the new "Young Drivers Program" of the Lamborghini Squadra Corse in Italy. Starting this year, Lamborghini is developing the Young Drivers Program, that offers the potential to collect young, new drivers from the Formula series and Touring car series in order to prepare them, through the Super Trofeo series, to start a professional GT3 driver career. Surely the team will have much success and podiums in this Lamborghini race series during the season.

The 2nd car in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe and the World Final in Malaysia will be shared through two drivers. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo will be driven by Carina Lima, a 35 years old Portuguese women (born in Angola) and the Portuguese driver Alexandre Martins (40 years old). Both pilots are experienced in GT racing. Furthermore it is a premiere in Leipert Motorsports GT section, that the team confirmed with a female driver for the whole season. The first female driver, who has worked with the team for a whole season, was Stefanie Manns. In the year 2007 she drove successfully a Ford Fiesta ST by Leipert Motorsport in the VLN at Nürburgring.

With the Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 GT3 are some races in planning and confirmed in the Int. GT Open, the DMV TCC, the 24h Series and 12h Gulf. The 1st race in the 24hSeries will be the 12h race in Zandvoort.

VLN/24h Nürburgring: After several years of abstinence Leipert Motorsport will again be active on the VLN platform as well as in the 24h race Nürburgring. The team is responsible for the technical support and service of Toyota Team Thailand. The team will start in the VLN and the qualifying race of the 24 Hours on a Toyota GT86 in class V2.

For the ADAC Zurich 24h Nürburgring in June 2014 Toyota Team Thailand is currently developing especially for this race event a Toyota Corolla Altis as racing car in the class SP3. After arriving from Thailand and the technical acceptance by the DMSB, the team will start a test program with the Toyota Corolla Altis on the Nordschleife.

Team owner Ingo Leipert:

"We’re delighted about the new driver confirmations. Jeroen Mul is a young, up-and-coming driver with excellent prospects and a lot of experience in motorsports. He has shown his performance already in Dubai at the beginning of this year, where our GT3 Lamborghini reached the podium in our class, 8th overall. By reason that Jeroen will go alone on the Lamborghini Trofeo in the series, it will be his own fortune to reach the podium. We are proud, that Lamborghini has realized his talent and provided by that to take one of our drivers for the new drivers squad. Also we are really looking forward to work with Carina Lima and Alexandre Martins in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe.

Our new project with Toyota Team Thailand will strengthen our ambition, because after several years of experience and success in Touring- and Formula cars we are looking forward to this great challenge with the Thai Team and their drivers Arto Suttipong Smittachartch, Kiki Sak Nana, Nattavude Charoensukhawatana und Nattapong Hortongkam."

The season openers for Leipert Motorsport will be the Qualifying race for the 24h Nürburgring at April 5th and the VLN race at April 12th with Toyota Team Thailand. Virtually at the same time, April 12th-13th, will start for Automobili Lamborghini Racing Team Germany the opening race weekend in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe in Monza (I).
