Weekend Off: The NASCAR Nationwide Series experienced its first off weekend of the 2014 season. After spending three of the last four weekends on the west coast, the Virginia driver used the off-weekend to relax and spend time with his family, celebrating two of his daughters' birthdays.

Texas Fast Facts: This weekend's event at Texas Motor Speedway will mark McClure's 232nd career Nationwide Series start and his 15th at the two-mile speedway. In 14 starts, he has completed 87.2% of the total laps completed and has an average finish of 28.9. His best finish of 19th dates back to 2009 when he competed for Team Rensi. One year ago, McClure exited the car during the first caution period as he had come down with the stomach flu 24 hours prior. As a result, Jeff Green finished the event for the No. 14 team and posted a 30th-place finish.

Chassis No. 12: Crew Chief Wes Ward has selected chassis No. 12 for this weekend's race at Texas Motor Speedway. This chassis was used several races last season but it has yet to make an appearance this year.

Eric McClure Quotes:

"I'm looking forward to this race. I've had a few solid runs here in the past, but the spring race seems to be one that I've had to get out of the car for various health reasons and I sat out the fall race last year. So for many reasons we are looking forward to getting to Texas and competing. It's a fun racetrack and another opportunity for our team."

Tune-In: Friday night's 300-mile race from Texas Motor Speedway will be televised live on ESPN 2 beginning at 8:30pm (ET). Sirius Channel 90 and Performance Racing Network (PRN) will also broadcast the event live on Friday, April 4.
