Motors TV's Got Talent Winners Revealed

Motors TV are proud to announce that Henry Beaudette and Liam Jenkins will join their Avon Tyres British GT Championship coverage this year after winning the inaugural ‘Motors TV’s Got Talent’ competition.

In partnership with Hayfisher Productions, ‘Motors TV’s Got Talent’ offered two individuals a chance to co-present and commentate on live, delayed and highlights coverage of Britain’s premier GT series, an established cornerstone of the channel’s sportscar output.

Motors TV can now confirm Beaudette as co-presenter while Jenkins completes the commentary line-up ahead of the opening round at Oulton Park on April 21.

Held at the Autosport International Show in January, the competition saw hundreds of fans, and the odd pro, audition for commentary and presenting roles at a temporary television studio and commentary booth on the Motors TV stand.

After taking the social media vote into consideration, by encouraging the public to share their favourite finalist’s Dailymotion video on Twitter and Facebook, the ultimate decision was made by a panel of experts who selected a winner from the five nominees in each category.

Frederic Viger, Motors TV’s Head of Programming and Acquisitions, said: “We are delighted to announce Henry and Liam as our ‘Motors TV’s Got Talent’ winners. There were some fantastic candidates in this year’s competition and the decision was a difficult one. However after some careful deliberation, including taking public opinion into account, we are very happy to confirm Henry and Liam as part of the presenting and commentary team for our Avon Tyres British GT Championship coverage. This is a fantastic opportunity for both to break into the industry, and I’d like to wish them all the best for 2014.”

Henry Beaudette, presenting competition winner, said: “A speechless presenter is never a good thing, but I’m lost for words! It’s going to be a fantastic experience, and I’d like to send my congratulations to the other finalists who were just as worthy. It’s still hard to believe that I’ll be co-presenting British GT this year.”

Liam Jenkins, commentary competition winner, said: “This won’t sink in for a while. I can’t believe I was included within the final five finalists, let alone won the competition. I am completely shocked by this unbelievable news and extremely grateful for the opportunity.”

Highlights of the opening round of this year’s Avon Tyres British GT Championship from Oulton Park, which will include Henry and Liam, will be shown at 15:20 BST on April 27.
