2014 Darlington: TriStar Motorsports NASCAR Nationwide Race Preview


The NASCAR Nationwide Series is heading south this weekend to Darlington Raceway for the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200. The track that is coined "Too Tough to Tame" will host the second night race of the 2014 season. Our five Toyota Racing Camrys are ready to dance with the "Lady in Black" Friday night at 7:30PM ET.

Blake Koch, No. 10 Support Military Foundation Camry
Blake Koch is making his fourth start at the 1.36-mile track this Friday. Koch has an average start of 28.3 and an average finish of 24.7. The Support Military Foundation is back on the No.10 Toyota Camry this weekend at Darlington Raceway.

Eric McClure, No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry
Eric McClure will make his 7th start at Darlington Raceway this weekend in the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200. After starting 37th last year, McClure brought home a 26th place finish. McClure has an average start of 35.0 and an average finish of 31.7 at the track that is "Too Tough to Tame".

Mike Bliss, No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry
Making his 13th Nationwide Series start at Darlington Raceway, Mike Bliss will be back behind the wheel of the No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry this weekend. Bliss has one top-5, three top-10's and an average finish of 18.6. During the 2013 race at Darlington, Bliss started 19th at the "Lady in Black" and finished in the same position.

David Starr, No. 44 Striping Technologies Camry
David Starr is back behind the wheel of the No. 44 Striping Technologies Camry this weekend at Darlington Raceway. This is Starr's first Nationwide Series start in Darlington, but sixth start overall at the raceway. Out of five Camping World Truck Series starts at Darlington, Starr has four top-10 finishes.

Jeff Green, No. 91 TriStar Motorsports Camry
Back behind the wheel of the No. 91 TriStar Motorsports Camry this weekend at Darlington Raceway is Jeff Green. This is Green's 21st start at the "Lady in Black". Green has one win, one pole, five top-5's and eight top-10 finishes at the track that is "Too Tough to Tame".

Be sure to tune into the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 on ESPN2 at 7:30pm/et, Sirius Channel 90 and MRN Radio.
