Toledo's 2014 season opening race will see Kenseth and Wallace headline a field of more than 40 drivers from throughout the country in a 150 lap "Border Wars" event, pitting the ARCA/CRA Super Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour late models.

"It means a lot to have racers like Stephen Wallace and Ross Kenseth compete in the 7-Up 150," said CRA President Glenn Luckett. "Not only are they good racers, their names will be ones that fans will recognize and hopefully want to come out and see compete against the best of the ARCA/CRA Super Series and ARCA Midwest Tour."

Ross Kenseth's father, Matt Kenseth, won the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship in 2003 and has 31 career Cup Series wins - including seven in 2013. Stephen Wallace's dad, Rusty Wallace, was the NASCAR Cup series champion in 1989, owns 55 career NASCAR Cup victories and is a member of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

The "sons of famous fathers" have enjoyed success in their own right.

Kenseth, 20, originally from Little Chute, Wisconsin, but currently living in Clemson, South Carolina, while pursuing a mechanical engineering degree from Clemson University. He was the 2009 Midwest-based Big 8 Series champion and won several major late model races in 2012 including the All American 400 at Nashville Raceway in Tennessee, the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway in Indiana and the RedBud 300 at Anderson Speedway, also in Indiana. Kenseth won the pole in his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut in 2013 at Madison Int'l Speedway in Oregon, Wis.

Wallace, 26, lives in Mooresville North Carolina and has experience in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. He also has tasted success on the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards tour, including four pole qualifying runs and four victories at Michigan Int'l Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway and Iowa Speedway. In February of 2014, Wallace won the World Series of Asphalt Racing championship in Florida.

Drivers from 11 states-Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, West Virginia and Wisconsin-and Canada have filed entries for the 150-lap event. The race weekend begins with a practice session Friday from 3-7 p.m. followed by on-track action Saturday with practice from 10-11:30 a.m., qualifying at 1 p.m. and the last chance race at 3 p.m. The weekend culminates with the featured 150-lap event on Toledo Speedway's half-mile, high-banked paved oval, the 7-Up 150, following the last chance race and an on-track autograph session.

Other notable entrants include 10-time ARCA Late Model champion Dennis Strickland of Carleton Michigan, defending CRA Jegs Tour champion Cody Coughlin of Delaware, Ohio, defending ARCA CRA Series champion Travis Braden of Wheeling, West Virginia, Brandon Hermiller of Walker, Michigan who is the nephew of three-time ARCA Racing Series champion Tim Steele, Chad Finley of DeWitt, Michigan whose father Jeff Finley is an ARCA Racing Series race winner, ARCA Racing Series winner Brian Campbell of Wyoming, Michigan, 2012 ARCA Midwest Tour champion Jonathan Eilen of Hampton, Minnesota and 2007 ARCA Midwest Tour champion Nathan Haseleu of Pardeeville, Wisconsin.

The 41-car entry list will be trimmed to a 30-car starting field through Saturday's qualifying and the last chance race.
