Watkins Glen International is proud to announce the addition of the Finger Lakes Beer Festival Presented by Finger Lakes Beer Trail on October 25 to the 2014 schedule of events. WGI’s newest festival (previously titled Glentoberfest) will feature five hours of sampling of the area’s finest craft beer, live music, great food, onsite camping and pace car rides (weather permitting). Advance tickets are on sale now and available at a discount for a limited time only.

Presenting-sponsor Finger Lakes Beer Trail was founded by Adam Smith and Theresa Hollister in 2011 to promote the craft brewing industry and showcase the region’s craft brewers. Smith and Hollister are dedicated to increasing the visibility of Finger Lakes brewing industry and have entered a multi-year partnership with Watkins Glen International to further that objective.

“We are excited to get this event off the ground with the Finger Lakes Beer Trail and showcase the fine craft beer that our region has to offer,” stated Michael Printup, president of Watkins Glen International. “Fall is a great time of year in the Finger Lakes and we are thrilled to be able to add more events, like this one, to our schedule.”

With over 30 craft beers from more than 15 New York craft breweries, the Finger Lakes Beer Festival is destined to be become the area’s premier beer tasting event. Guest must be 21 years of age to attend.

Limited RV camping is available on Pit Road for Saturday. RV Camping spaces include electric and a shared water hook-up. RV Camping is available in advance for $50 and pre-event for $75. Tent camping will not be permitted during this event.
