Roush Fenway History at Richmond
Overall, RFR has started 295 races at RIR in NASCAR action, winning 15 times, while bringing home 86 top-five and 139 top-10 finishes, 14 poles and leading a total of 4,956 laps across all three of NASCAR’s major series.

On the Sprint Cup Side
RFR has made 181 Cup starts dating back to 1988 at RIR, winning on five occasions, with the first win coming in 1990 and the most recent last fall.

Winning Trends
Four of RFR’s five Cup wins have come in the fall. Roush Fenway has not won a ‘spring’ race at Richmond since Feb. 25, 1990. Carl Edwards won at RIR last fall, to give RFR its fifth Sprint Cup win and 15th overall NASCAR win at the track.

Nationwide Dominance at Richmond
Roush Fenway has won nine times in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) at RIR. In fact, RFR won its first two NNS races at Richmond in 1993 and never looked back. All-in-all, three different drivers have tallied the nine wins at RIR, including Carl Edwards who has three victories. In addition, RFR has 42 top fives and 59 top 10s in NNS racing at RIR.

Reed Returns to Richmond for One-Year “Anniversary”
Ryan Reed returns to RIR, where he made his RFR and NNS debut a year ago. Reed ran inside the top 10 much of the race, en route to a 16th-place finish in his inaugural trip to Richmond. He returned to the .75-mile oval in the fall and posted his first career top-10 finish with a ninth-place run.

Race Around America Launches Webisode 3
RFR and Walgreens have launched the third installment of “Race Around America,” with a webisode that features NNS rookie Chris Buescher taking the Balance Financial Ford Mustang from Texas to Darlington, with a stop in Memphis, Tenn. Along the way the 2012 ARCA champion does a little Monster trucking, cruises Memphis with the ‘King’ and flexes the muscle of the newly supercharged Balance Financial Mustang at Memphis International Raceway before rolling into the ‘Track Too Tough to Tame.’ Visit http://www.racearoundamerica.com to see the full webisode.

Bayne First in Cass at TryCharleston Sprint Triathlon
While the majority of his fellow NASCAR competitors enjoyed a relaxing Easter weekend off, Roush Fenway Racing’s Trevor Bayne embarked on a different type of race. The 2011 Daytona 500 winner chose to push his mind and body to the limits in the TryCharleston sprint triathlon. In what was only his second sprint-tri, Bayne finished first in his age group (male 20-24), posting a personal best time of 1:10:21.
