IMSA Statement on the Passing of Motorsports Ministries' Richard Anderson

“On behalf of everyone at the International Motor Sports Association, I want to offer sincere condolences to the family of Richard Anderson, the leader of Motorsports Ministries who lost a long and courageous battle with cancer Friday morning,” said Scott Atherton, IMSA President and COO. “Richard was an icon for years in both the GRAND-AM and American Le Mans Series paddocks; on countless race weekends he was, in effect, our ‘church.’
