"The Andretti Autosport team is just doing a great job for me. We were a little behind the first couple of sessions, so we put our heads together and had a lot of help from the big car (Verizon IndyCar Series) guys. So we put what we had to play and I think it worked out for us. We just have to make sure we don't lose it at the start again. We've had a lot of on-track time here at Barber Motorsports Park)... I think credit goes to my engineer Doug Zister. He gave me a great car; we struggled with it a bit earlier but during qualifying it was just so easy to drive."

Matthew Brabham, No. 83 United Fiber & Data/MAZDASPEED
• Qualified P6 for the first of two races this weekend
• Tomorrow will mark Pro Mazda reigning champion's first race at Barber Motorsports Park

"We learned a lot, I think; we just didn't quite get that lap in. It was a pretty close session, and Zach (Veach) did a great job so congratulations to him. I'm just disappointed in myself - I think I should be higher than I qualified - qualified in sixth place and disappointed with that. We'll see how it goes. I don't think our cars are too far off, we just didn't quite get it together there. The United Fiber & Data/MAZDASPEED guys will work hard at it and hopefully get a good start tomorrow and improve from there."

Shelby Blackstock, No. 28 Starstruck
• Finished this morning's practice session in P2
• Qualified in P6 for tomorrow's race

"Overall the car was okay; it wasn't perfect, but in the end, it is what it is. We'll just move on to the race and see what we can change for the race and move on. I'm just going to go into tomorrow' open-minded, hopefully get a good start and hopefully move up some positions and grab a podium or a win."

Garett Grist, No. 27 DaVinci Foods/Lander Property Management
• Was fourth quick in this morning's practice session
• Starts tomorrow's Race One from the eighth grid position

"Well, we ended up P8 - we're really struggling right now, so we have a lot of work to do. The DaVinci Foods/Lander Property Management guys and I will go back and figure it out for tomorrow'srace."
