Enders-Stevens won the Pro Stock final, marking the 99th time a woman has won in an NHRA professional category. The next race for the NHRA professional teams will be at the Atlanta Dragway in May.

The other Goodyear winners in Texas included Antron Brown (Top Fuel) and Robert Hight (Funny Car) in the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series for professionals. Mike Janis won in Pro Mod. Randy Meyer (Top Alcohol Dragster) and Shane Westerfield (Top Alcohol Funny Car) won in the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series for sportsman racers.

Enders-Stevens, the Pro Stock points leader, beat friend and mentor Allen Johnson in the final round. Enders-Stevens won for the second time this season and it was the eighth win of her Pro Stock career. She has 426 points while Jason Line is next with 384.

Brown beat Khalid alBalooshi in the Top Fuel final. Brown won for the third time in 2014 and closed within 25 points of series leader Doug Kalitta.

Hight narrowly edged Jack Beckman in the Funny Car final that matched former world champions. Beckman had the quicker reaction time but Hight drove around him to notch his third victory this season in his fifth final round this year. Hight leads the Funny Car standings with 488 points, while john Force is next with 453.

Janis scored his third Pro Mod victory and all those wins have come on Goodyear tires. Competitive is open among tiremakers in Pro Mod.

Meyer beat Mark Taliaferro in an all-Goodyear final in TAD. It was the fifth national event victory for Meyer in 10 final round appearances. Meyer is fourth in national points and Taliaferro is 10th.

Westerfield’s victory came at the expense of Annie Whiteley in a race between two Goodyear-shod racers. Westerfield is second in national points.

Goodyear employs about 69,000 people at manufacturing plants and facilities in 22 nations. Based in Akron, Ohio, Goodyear is among the largest tiremakers in the world and is the worldwide leader in race tire innovation.
