Audi Sport Italia To Line-Up Three RS5 Racecars At Vallelunga

While the EUROV8SERIES is set to be on-track for Round 2 of 2014 at Vallelunga, Audi Sport Italia announce they will raise the game with the addition of a third RS5 race car at the Roman circuit on May 3rd and 4th.

In addition to Czech Tomas Kostka and Italian Davide Stancheris, the Novara-based squad will rely on the services of the experienced Ermanno Dionisio, and after the double 4th-place finish at Monza, the Audi Camp is looking forward to more success.

Dionisio is also back to the International Series after last year’s great performance at Franciacorta, when he drove an Audi RS5 to two podium finishes for Audi Sport Italia.

“It will be interesting to see how our cars will behave at Vallelunga - said Audi Sport Italia Team Manager Roberta Gremignani - the RS5 won three out of its four races at the venue and that’s a pretty good average. Nonetheless, the opponents we’re going to face this season won’t make it easy for us. We worked hard together with the other teams to balance the performance of the cars, as proved by the BoP released a few days ago. Now it will be the races to provide answers”.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the EUROV8SERIES - said Ermanno Dionisio - Throughout the years, I got some great satisfactions in the championships organized by FG Group, like the victory at the 2008 Motorshow in Bologna and the podium finish at Kyalami in 2010. I hope to continue on the same path this season”.
