The Bolton-based squad will continue to run teenage hotshot Harry Hartley in the 2014 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship, as the championship arrives at the team’s home track, Oulton Park this weekend.

Team owner Martin Halsall said: “It is with regret that we have to announce that we have parted company with Lee Costello. Lee has been an integral part of the team since we began, and we are going to miss him.

“We will continue to run Harry Hartley on our Halsall Biker Gear Kawasaki machine. Harry has made a fantastic start to his superbike career, becoming the youngest rider ever to score points and we are looking forward to seeing where he can go from here.

“From myself and on behalf of the whole Halsall Biker Gear Kawasaki team I would like to wish Lee well for whatever he does in the future.”
