The 21-year-old now says he needs to focus still further on bike set-up as he admits it will be a tough race tomorrow in what could prove to be the sweltering conditions. The youngster hopes to make improvements to his machine in warm-up before the day’s 26-lap race.

Heading the front row for the race is Finn Mika Kallio, from Sandro Cortese and Luis Salom. Nicol Terol may miss tomorrow’s race after crashing in FP3 and missing qualifying.

Tetsuta Nagashima, Teluru team JiR Webike rider: best lap 1m 45.112s

“Again the conditions were really hot of a like which I’ve never experienced before on a Moto2 bike. With this in mind I tried to set up the bike for these hot conditions but my settings weren’t perfect but I still have a very positive feeling with the bike. Obviously I want to continue improvements so I may well change things a little for warm-up in the morning. After that I want to centre my thoughts for the race which will be tough both physically and mentally thanks to the extremely hot conditions so I will try my best for the race.”
