By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers

NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Denny Hamlin and his No. 11 FedEx Express Toyota has won the 45th Annual Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama. For Hamlin, it is his first win of the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, and 24th of his career. Hamlin has won a race in each of the last 9 years. This is also Hamlin's first win at Talladega.

Finishing second was Greg Biffle and his No. 16 3M Window Film Ford. For Biffle, it was his second top-five of the 2014 season, and 87th of his career.

Grabbing third in the green-white-checker dash to the finish was Clint Bowyer and his No. 15 PEAK Antifreeze/Motor Oil Toyota. For Bowyer, it was his first top-five of the year.

Brian Vickers and his No. 55 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota was fourth with AJ Allmendinger and his No. 47 Bush's Beans Chevrolet.

Allmendinger was the only driver to start in the top-five (third). The other four drivers all started 18th (Vickers) or worse.

Next up for the NASCAR Sprint Cup series is Kansas Speedway next weekend.
