SCOTT PRUETT: "We gave it all we had. Starting back in seventh, it’s a long way to work back up. The car ran great. We were doing everything we could. We tried to take a little gamble there. It paid off for us in Sebring. It didn’t pay off for us here, but still, we’re on the podium, we’re still solid in the points and whenever you’re standing 1, 2 or 3 on top of the podium it’s a good day."

MEMO ROJAS: "It was a crazy race and we certainly didn’t know what to expect during the race because it was so competitive out there. The best thing was that we played a great strategy and were able to put the car back in the top five after the first stop. There were probably five or six cars that could have been on the podium today and we did well and were one of them."

No. 60 Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian Ford EcoBoost Riley

OZZ NEGRI: "I’m disappointed. I was looking forward to the race after the warm-up. I had problems (with the gearbox) since the beginning of the race. Even with all the problems, I thought the car had good speed. It just started getting worse and worse and worse, to the point where I would go from fifth gear into fourth and it would go straight into first and would lock up the rears. It was like a nightmare. As soon as I got in the car I knew something was not right. I don’t know what to say, other than we’ll keep on trying hard. The car was competitive. We’ll go on to the next one."

JOHN PEW: "The car was good. I got stuck behind the Patron car for awhile, took a long time for me to get around it and when I did, about halfway through my stint, the tires had gone off a little bit. It was getting harder and harder to drive, but it was OK. Then Ozz got in the car. He did a good job…got some spots, had some quick lap times but the transmission problem just got worse and worse. The car was good. The guys did a good job. The Ford engine was fantastic. It’s too bad. I don’t know what to say. It’s just bad luck."
