“We’re absolutely rapt to welcome AHG to the Aussie Racing Car Super Series,” Category Manager Brad Ward said.

“We’re enjoying fantastic growth, full fields and amazing exposure right now, so it couldn’t be a better time to welcome a new partner on board.”

In recent years Aussie Racing Cars [ARC] has undergone a series of significant developments which has seen the introduction of new models, a stream of new competitors and the return of some iconic venues.

“ARC will make its first journey across to Western Australia this year - alongside the V8 Supercars - and return to Bathurst for the first time in five years, so it’s an exciting program this year,” Ward confirmed.

AHG is Australia’s largest automotive retail group and they are also a major logistics supplier with operations in every mainland state - many of the areas in which the Aussie Racing Car Super Series regularly compete.

“We hope to be able to entertain AHG’s huge range of clients and staff with some of the best racing ythey’ll see in Australia,” Ward added.

“We’re also proud to reveal that Tony Quinn will return to the wheel of an Aussie Racing Car at Perth for the next round of the championship, piloting an AHG Euro GT.

“Despite the fact that Tony took over the category a couple of years ago, up until the middle of last season he hadn’t actually gotten behind the wheel of any of the ARC cars, now he loves them so much, it’s hard to get him out!”

“We’re excited to be joining the Australian GT and Aussie Racing Car [ARC] series and see it as a really strong association from a branding viewpoint,” Bronte Howson, Managing Director of AHG explained.

“The AGT and ARC series are highly regarded for their levels of professionalism and presentation, and we look forward to being able to engage with the teams, the fans who attend the events and the television audiences.”

“AHG holds more than 150 new car and truck franchises across Australia and New Zealand and this is a very high profile method of driving race fans to our AHG web site at ahg.com.au.”

The new association will begin at Barbagallo Raceway in Western Australia during the May 16-18 V8 Supercar event with AHG branding adorning all cars competing in the 2014 Aussie Racing Cars Super Series, alongside existing partners, Game Over GC, RDA Brakes, Darrell Lea and FW1.
