2014 Kansas: NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifying Results - Harvick, Chevrolet on Pole!

Kevin Harvick and his No. 4 Jimmy John's Chevrolet won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 4th Annual 5-hour ENERGY 400 Benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation with a lap of 27.799 seconds, 194.252 mph (a new track record). This is his eighth pole in 477 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races and his second pole and sixth top-10 start in 2014. This is also his second pole in 17 races at Kansas Speedway.

Kansas Speedway becomes the sixth track in 2014 to set a new qualifying track record joining Phoenix, Las Vegas, Bristol, Martinsville and Darlington.

Also starting on the front row, Joey Logano and his No. 22 AAA Insurance Ford posted his eighth top-10 start of 2014 and his sixth in ten races at Kansas Speedway.

Starting third, Brad Keselowski and his No. 2 Wurth Ford posted his third top-10 start at Kansas Speedway. It is his eighth in 11 races this season.

Carl Edwards and his No. 99 Aflac Ford will start fourth with Kyle Larson and his No. 42 Target Chevrolet rounding out the top five qualifiers. Larson was also the fastest qualifying rookie.

Overall, 44 NASCAR Sprint Cup entries attempted to qualify for tomorrow's race.
