Closely fought has been the battle for fourth won by George Russell (Koiranen GP), who had to reply to all the attacks moved by the two Fortec Motorsports drivers, Ben Barnicoat and Charles Leclerc, respectively fifth and sixth.

Positive result for the two Tech 1 Racing drivers as well with Akash Nandy and Luke Chudleigh, seventh and eighth. The top ten is completed by the Polish Alex Bosak (Prema Powerteam) and the Italian Dario Capitanio (BVM Racing).

THE REPORT. De Vries makes no mistakes at the green light with Isaakyan on his tail while Gachet makes his move on Rovera. Russell is still fifth while Bosak slips back two positions to eleventh. Rovera under pressure spins and Gachet takes the position. In the back of the pack duel between Anoschin and Korneev. A minor contact among the two team mates puts to an end Anoshin’s race while Korneev loses two places. Leclerc, sixth, closes his gap from Barnicoat who is still trying to make a move on Russell. The trio fights hard for the fourth place till the chequered flag that crowns de Vries ahead of Isaakyan and Gachet.

Race 2 is set for tomorrow morning at 9.22 and will be live streamed on www.renaultsportitalia.it.
