Mercedes Formula One F1 driver Lewis Hamilton picked up the win at the 2014 Spanish Grand Prix. For Hamilton, it it his fourth win of the 2014 season and 26th career Formula One F1 victory - 58th career podium. It was also Hamilton's first win at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

For Mercedes, it was the team's fifth victory of the year and fifth straight triumph. The team also claimed their fourth one-two of the season. The victory marked the team's 18th all-time as a constructor. With the triumph, Mercedes becomes the first team since 2004 - Ferrari - to win the opening five Grand Prix of the season.

Valtteri Bottas and his No. 77 Williams would finish fifth.

Overall, Hamilton is the championship points leader at 100 points versus 97 for Rosberg. Mercedes are dominating the rest of the field, with a 48 second margin of victory and a huge 113 point lead in the the constructors fight.

Jean-Eric Vergne (Toro Rosso) retired early with exhaust issues. Kamui Kobayashi (Caterham) was out early with a left-front brake failure (Lap 37).
