Next stop Le Mans for the Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3

Two weeks after the Spanish Grand Prix, which opened the intense European season of the 2014 Moto3 World Championship, the Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3 riders are back in action this weekend at the historic Bugatti circuit of Le Mans for the French Grand Prix.

Niccolò Antonelli is ready to face an event that promises to be not easy, being often marked by variable weather conditions: the 18-year-old from Cattolica, who qualified on the front row in Jerez, is still looking for a result that could finally turn into championship points the speed already shown several times aboard his KTM and Le Mans could be the right opportunity .

His team-mate, Enea Bastianini , head to France leading the “Rookie of the year” standings and he’s determined to collect more points after the excellent ninth position obtained at Jerez , even if he will face a track he has never seen before.

NICCOLO' ANTONELLI “In France we must continue to work with the right attitude, like we did in Jerez, where we were able to be fast also during qualifying, getting the front row. Unfortunately the race didn’t go as planned, but I would like to prevent that this episode can make me feel too much pressure: I want to start off the weekend with an open mind, and simply give my maximum. I like the track and regarding the weather forecast, it’s the same for everyone, so I’m not worried”.

ENEA BASTIANINI “I've never seen the Le Mans circuit before: I raced on it only virtually, with the PlayStation! In addition, rain is expected for the weekend and so far I haven’t had the opportunity to gain experience with this bike in wet conditions. For this reason, I hope we can race with the dry. In any case, my goal remains the same, that’s to try to collect points: if I will be able to get into the top ten, as happened in the last two races, it would be very nice”.

FAUSTO GRESINI “It's hard to make a prediction for this Grand Prix: Niccolò must find the right serenity and I am convinced that when he will express himself like he’s able to do, he can really do great things. For this reason, now we need to think only about the present: our season is starting now, in France, and we have to forget what happened so far. Enea will face an unknown track, but I hope he can continue its growth trend, which goes on race by race. He's doing great things if we consider his age”.
