Davison's Indianapolis 500 Entry Features Fetching Livery From Always Evolving Racing

KV Racing Technology has unveiled the eye-appealing livery of its fourth entry for this year's Indianapolis 500, the No. 33 KV Racing Technology/Always Evolving Racing Chevrolet/Dallara/Firestone driven by James Davison. The 27-year-old Australian took the car on track for the first time today to complete his Rookie Orientation Program and was cleared to practice and qualify for the 98th running of the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing."

The primary colors of Davison's car are vibrant teal and white with black accents, consistent with Always Evolvin g's car schemes in multiple racing classes. Teal is the dominant color swath and the "AE" brand logo is prominently displayed on the hood, sides and rear wing of the car.

"The teal and white scheme has been our signature from the start," said Erik Davis, CEO of Always Evolving. "To see it on an Indy car in the world's greatest racing event is exciting for our organization and fans. We anticipate the car will perform as well as it looks."

A unique detail of the livery has significant meaning to Always Evolving. In the white splash along the sides of the car are faint, gradient "AE" logos with the name "Roger Rodas" highlighted - the team's special tribute to its co-founder who died tragically with actor/producer Paul Walker in a car accident in late 2013. The team has established "Racing in Honor" as its internal mission for the 2014 season in his memory.

"The tribute logos aren't really visible on television or in the stands," explained Davis. "It's more about remembering our friends and celebrating their passion for this team."

Davison's car has also added several associate sponsors, including Humax, Studio e3 and feature film "The Love Punch," a Ketchup Entertainment romantic caper starring Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson that debuts nationwide May 23 - two days before this year's Indy 500.

"We believe the No. 33 car boasts one of the most attractive liveries in this year's Indianapolis 500 field," said Steve Moore, KVRT General Manager. "Always Evolving has done a spectacular job in creating the scheme and we are pleased to add Humax, Studio e3 and Ketchup Entertainment to the team. It has taken some time to put the program together, but things are clicking now and we're eager to get James into the field for the race."

Davison will team with Sebastien Bourdais (No. 11 Hydoxycut/Mistic E-Cigs - KVSH Racing Chevrolet/Dallara/Firestone), Sebastian Saavedra (No. 17 KV AFS Racing Chevrolet/Dallara/Firestone) and Townsend Bell (No. 6 Robert Graham - KV Racing Technology Chevrolet/Dallara/Firestone) with KVRT in this year's 500. Practice continues today and Friday, with the new qualifying format set for this weekend. The race is scheduled for Sunday, May 25, and will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).
