It was Rhodes’ second victory of the 2014 season.

Every car in the 37-car field raced on Goodyear tires. Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the East and West series, as well as the Canadian Tire Series. The chase around Iowa’s .875-mile oval was 150 laps long.

Brodie Kostecki started on the pole after posting a lap averaging 133.102 mph during time trials and he led the first 35 laps of the race before getting tangled in an accident. Rhodes took over at that point. The winner averaged 93.287 mph.

Nick Drake finished second, 2.377 seconds behind Rhodes. Scott Heckert, Jay Beasley and Brandon Jones completed the top five finishers.

Goodyear employs about 69,000 people at manufacturing plants and facilities in 22 nations. Based in Akron, Ohio, Goodyear is among the largest tiremakers in the world and is the worldwide leader in race tire innovation.
