Phillip Island race to be streamed online

This Saturday, May 24th I will take on 101 laps of Phillip Island in the Australian GT Championship's 'Trophy Class', alongside Simon Ellingham in the Fastway Racing Porsche.

To follow the race LIVE, Motorsport TV has set up a stream of the weekend's racing across all classes.

Formula First One Hour Race
Returning to my roots in Grandad's classic car

In a return to my roots at Manfeild, I enjoyed the opportunity to drive my grandfather Rob's classic Formula Vee in the annual One Hour Race.

The car hasn't turned a wheel in many years and had to be driven 'with care', but we made it to the finish in 5th place in what was a fun and light-hearted Sunday drive, with some nice sentimentality for the family.

Look out for next year when we have a special tribute at the race for Pop's 20th anniversary, since he last won the NZ Championship.

Full Throttle Mag
New columnist

I've joined the NZ Full Throttle Magazine as a columnist to share my news and views in their monthly publication.

Pick up a copy at most Pak 'n' Save, New World and Countdown supermarkets as well as Take Note and Paper Plus stores.

Vortex Racewear
Sponsor Profile

Vortex Racewear is our family business which was started by my father Richard, his better half Denise and I in 2009.

Five years on we are proud to service the local (and recently international) markets with their FIA, SFI and Snell rated racewears, from race suits, boots and gloves to helmets (carbon & composite), nomex underwear, teamwear and a range of accessories.

Our prices need to be seen to be believed. Bang for buck on products from club to elite level are industry-leading.
