Kansas Recap...Allgaier made his second NSCS start at Kansas Speedway on Saturday, May 10. With his best NSCS career starting spot of 18th, Allgaier went into the 400-lap race with confidence. After running as high as ninth in the No. 51 BRANDT Chevy, Allgaier was involved in a multi-car accident shortly after a restart late in the race. Unfortunately, the BRANDT Chevy was heavily damaged and ended the race 36th.

Sunoco Rookie of the Year...After graduating to the NSCS this season, Allgaier is competing for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the No. 51 Hendrickcars.comChevy. In 2009, Allgaier took home the Rookie of the Year title in the NNS. After Kansas, Allgaier is currently third in the standings, behind Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon.

Justin Allgaier on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
"I'm ready to get back on the track at Charlotte [Motor Speedway]. We have a new sponsor this weekend, Hendrickcars.com. It's always an honor to drive anything with the Hendrick name on it. This is home turf for Hendrick Automotive Group, and I want to put a good show on for them. Charlotte is a mile-and-a-half track, and we really showed improvement on that style of track at Kansas [Speedway]. We obviously didn't have the finish to show for it, but we were consistently in the top 15. We're back to our regular track schedule this weekend at Charlotte with three practice sessions and qualifying, so I'll have plenty of time to learn the track in a Sprint Cup car. Overall, we should have a solid weekend."

Crew Chief Steve Addington on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
"We showed at Kansas [Speedway] that our mile-and-a-half program has really improved since the start of the season. The guys have been working really hard at the shop, and we are seeing the results on the track. We just need to go out and do the same things we've been doing the past few weeks, which is run in the top 15 and be consistent. As long as we don't get caught up in an accident, I think we'll have a great weekend in the Hendrickcars.com Chevy."
