CEO and co-founder of Riders for Health, Andrea Coleman said: ‘We would like to thank everyone at Dorna, World Superbikes, Donington Park and all of the teams and riders for helping us to launch this new event. It’s so exciting to be part of the World Superbike weekend and to see the motorcycle community coming together to ensure health workers across Africa can continue to deliver health care to rural communities.’

Those fans who are coming to Donington Park on Thursday can get tickets from the Donington Park Box office.

The family day costs just £15 per person and includes paddock and pit-lane access, with the opportunity to get close to the incredible WSBK bikes as crews prepare for the upcoming race, as well as the chance to meet the current stars of World Superbikes at an autograph signing session.

Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on some unique items in the Day of Dreams auction, including two incredible WSBK hard passes which allow entry into the paddock at any circuit in the 2015 Superbike World Championships.

Other auction lots include a pair of boots donated by British rider Tom Sykes, hospitality and paddock passes for this race weekend and Alex Lowes' gloves from his podium finish at Assen.

Also up for grabs is an All Blacks jersey, signed by the undefeated 2013 team, kindly donated by the New Zealand Rugby Players Association.

Lucky fans who have purchased track time tickets, will also be joining three-times British Superbike Champion Niall MacKenzie and legend Ron Haslam for half an hour of expert tuition on the Donington Park race track.

Niall Mackenzie said ‘I’ve supported Riders for Health for a long time, and I think events like Day of Dreams are really special. You get the chance to experience the pre-race buzz that goes on behind-the-scenes, as well as raising money for a charity that really is helping to save lives.’

All of the money raised from Day of Dreams will help Riders for Health ensure health workers in Africa have access to reliable, well maintained motorcycles and ambulance so that they can continue to transform health care for 14 million people.
