2014 NHRA: John Force Racing Represented At 2014 Night Before The 500

On May 24, John Force Racing’s Traveling Road Show will be present at the 69th annual Visit Hendricks County Night Before the 500 at Lucas Oil Raceway. The display will feature three historical 10,000 horsepower Ford Mustangs that were significant in making John Force Racing the winningest team in motorsports history.

“Events like this are why I put the Road Show together. We go all over the country spreading the gospel of NHRA and John Force Racing. You definitely want to be a part of all the events surrounding the Indy 500 and this event at Lucas Oil Raceway is one of the most historic. It’s older than me,” joked John Force.

“The city of Brownsburg which is in Hendricks County is a great partner and we want to see this area grow. I am investing in Brownsburg with new buildings and we are excited to be here. The Funny Cars that are on display in the Road Show are some of my favorites. We won lots of races and Mello Yello championships with these race cars for all our sponsors,” said 16-time Mello Yello Funny Car champion.

The Night Before the 500 tradition will feature the USAC Midget Series, Pro Mazda, and USF2000. Gates open at 2:00 pm along with access to the John Force Racing Road Show display, followed by racing at 7:40 pm.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and children 12 and under are free. You can buy tickets by calling 317-291-4090 or online at http://www.lucasoilraceway.com/apcm/templates/racedivisions.asp?articleid=54411&zoneid=95
