Avf Upbeat After Good Start For Amberg And Visser In Monaco

AVF was off to a good start in Monaco, where World Series by Renault is holding the most awaited event of its season. In the glamorous Principality the F.Renault 3.5 engines started roaring early this morning as the cars left the paddock area, located at the Monaco Tennis Club, to reach the street circuit for the first and only Free Practice available.

The 45' session saw AVF shine thanks to a great drive by Zoel Amberg: at his third year in the streets of Monaco, the Swiss talent made the most of his experience to post very consistent laptimes straight out of the box, performances that allowed him to remain in the top 5 for nearly the whole session. Only a red flag when he had just left the pits on new tyres prevented him from improving his best time, but Zoel still finished in 6th place with a 1'25"390, a very good performance that bodes well for Saturday's qualifying.

At her debut in Monaco (and the 3rd race weekend in the series) Beitske Visser did an amazing job too, completing the session without any major mistake. Focusing on improving her pace while staying away from the armcos, Beitske got acquainted with the streets of Monaco and managed to finish in 17th place, ahead of some more experienced rivals.
