Brian Scott and his No. 33 Shore Lodge Chevrolet SS team had plenty of optimism heading into the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway after qualifying 18th. In Scott's second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at the 1.5-mile speedway, the Boise, Idaho native began to pick off positions when the green flag waved making his way into the top 15. Unfortunately, Scott made contact with the wall early into the 400-lap event. His Chevrolet SS team rallied on pit road to put Scott back into contention. However, another on-track incident on lap 236 resulted in right-front fender damage. Scott battled handling issues for the remainder of the race finishing 32nd.

Start - 18th Finish - 32nd Laps Led - 0 Owner Points - 41st

BRIAN SCOTT QUOTE:
"I take full responsibility for tonight. My Shore Lodge Chevrolet team fought hard all night for me and I really appreciate that. I hate this as much as anyone else. We had a great car in practice and were really excited to see what we could have accomplished."
