2014 Dover: Turner Scott Motorsports NASCAR Truck Race Preview

Back At It...The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) returns to the track this weekend in Dover, Delaware for the Lucas Oil 200 at Dover International Speedway. Four-time NCWTS champion Ron Hornaday Jr. will make his 10th-career start at the one-mile oval in hopes of scoring his second-career win at the Monster Mile. In his nine previous events at Dover, Hornaday has earned one win, three top fives, five top 10s, led 275 laps and has an average finish of 11.2.

This Week's Silverado...The No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products team will unload chassis TSM-215 for this weekend's race at Dover. TSM-215 was last on the track in November of 2013 at Phoenix International Raceway where Cale Gale drove it to a sixth-place finish.

On-Board View...The No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products team will carry an in-truck camera for Friday night's shootout at the Monster Mile.

Gotta Have a Rheem...At Dover, Hornaday will once again pilot the No. 30 Rheem Comfort Products Chevrolet for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM). Rheem Manufacturing Company (www.rheem.com) is privately held with headquarters in Atlanta. In its 88th year of operation, the company manufactures a full line of high-quality residential and commercial heating and cooling systems; tank, tankless, solar, and heat pump water heaters; swimming pool heaters and commercial boilers throughout North America and world markets. The company's premium brands, including Raypak, Ruud and Rheem, have been recognized with countless industry and consumer awards for reliability, innovative design and high quality. Rheem is now in its eighth consecutive year as a NASCAR sponsor.

Watch and Listen...The Lucas Oil 200 can be seen live on Friday, May 30 on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 5:00 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.

Previous Race Recap...Hornaday took the green flag from the fourth starting spot as the sun was setting at Charlotte Motor Speedway. By lap 11, the No. 30 Rheem machine was in the second position. Hornaday held second place until lap 74 when he was involved in an accident with another competitor. The No. 30 Rheem Chevy came down pit road for minor repairs to the left- and right-side quarter panels. After restarting in the 20th position, Hornaday consistently worked his way through the field. On lap 85, the fifth caution was displayed and Hornaday dipped down pit road for fuel, which would give him enough to go the distance of the race. After two more quick cautions, Hornaday was working his way through the field when he was involved in an accident on lap 114. He drove the heavily-damaged Rheem Comfort Products Chevy to the garage and ultimately finished 19th for TSM.

Ron Hornaday Jr. on Racing at Dover International Speedway:
"Dover is a very fast one-mile oval and I really enjoy racing there. The guys at Turner Scott Motorsports have prepared me with another great Rheem Comfort Products Silverado for this weekend. We got caught up in an accident a few weeks ago in Charlotte, and that kept us from having another solid finish, so hopefully we can get back on track this week. I am looking forward to working with Doug George and hopefully getting this Rheem Comfort Products Silverado in victory lane. "
