Clearwater Design And CTCC Establish Sportsperson Of The Event Prize

ClearWater Design is a family owned company run by husband and wife team, Ian Crerar & Michelle Laframboise. They, along with their children are out on the water enjoying (and testing) their canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards every chance they get. Since 1995 they have been producing rotationally molded, polyethylene boats. Being located on the water gives them the opportunity to constantly test their products and ensure that everything they produce is of high standards and fun to paddle. Their 40,000 square foot factory is located in Prince Edward County in Eastern Ontario. Please visit http://www.clearwaterdesignboats.com.

“I am extremely excited about supporting CTCC competitors this season,” stated Ian Crerar, partner of ClearWater Design. “The kayaks and chair provide completely different ways for competitors to enjoy the outdoors when not at the racetrack.”

“It’s fantastic to have a partner like ClearWater Design that offers our competitors such unique rewards,” commented John Bondar, President of CTCC. “Our competitors will be able to enjoy those prizes with their family and friends when away from the racetrack. What a great way to promote and encourage something that I am proud to say always existed within the CTCC family but have never been rewarded or recognized. Thanks to Ian Crerar for this amazing program.”

Recipient of the Sportsperson prize will be selected after each CTCC event, after reviewing the general activities on and off track, and after receiving input from CTCC competitors.

The Sportsperson of the Event for the recent event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is Remy Audette. Remy dominated the event with two pole positions and two victories. Remy and his team set a standard of professionalism both on and off the track as they set out to win the CTCC championship.
