Kyle LeDuc and Toyo Tires Make History in Reno. Team Captures Off-Road Record and Sweeps Weekend Races

Team Toyo® Off-Road driver, Kyle LeDuc made history this past weekend when he swept the Reno Off-Road Nationals at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Reno, NV. Winning both Rounds 5 and 6 at Reno, LeDuc is now tied with Carl Renezeder for the most ever Pro 4 Unlimited class wins (26) in the history of the series. This is LeDuc’s second consecutive sweep this season in the Lucas Oil® Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS), having swept Rounds 3 and 4 at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park in Lake Elsinore, CA in late April.

LeDuc’s #99 Monster Energy / Toyo Tires Ford F-150 relies on Toyo® Open Country M/T®-R tires for his winning combination. Just three weekends into the season, he has won five out of six races and leads the overall Pro 4 Unlimited class championship by 31 points. Reaching another milestone on Saturday, it was LeDuc’s 50th career win since he began competing in short course off-road racing.

“We had a great weekend again,” said LeDuc of his Reno sweep. “Our truck was killer in a straight line which allowed us to drive cautiously in spots where others needed to push. We found our bite in many ways. Toyo tires are a huge part of our success… I can't thank them enough.”

“Kyle LeDuc’s sweep this weekend is one for the history books in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series,” said Stan Chen, manager of events and motorsports, Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “Not only did Kyle tie the record for most overall wins in Pro 4 Unlimited and score his 50th short course win, but he also set the fastest lap time ever at Reno. Toyo Tires is proud to be a part of that history, and with so much racing left in the season we look forward to celebrating more wins.”

LeDuc is now focused on breaking the record for the most overall Pro 4 Unlimited class wins June 21 and 22, during Rounds 7 and 8 at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT Utah. The 16-race Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series can be seen on CBS Sports Network and MavTV. Details at lucasoiloffroad.com.
