In the first two rounds at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario Scott quickly became accustomed to driving a powerful car with doors and a roof, qualifying on the pole and then winning both races. Scott left the event as the point’s leader in the championship. This came only a week after his first two wins in the Pro Mazda championship at the Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Scott commented "May has been a good month of racing for me! To go from my first Pro Mazda win to my first ever sports car race and win was incredible. I was amazed with the amount of power the cars have and really enjoyed the challenge of adapting my driving style to suit a sports car. I can’t wait to continue racing the Open Road Porsche in the Calabogie Grand Prix! "

Christian Chia comments "Scott’s performance at Mosport was fantastic and we are very proud to have been a part of it. We believe Scott’s talent and speed are obvious and want to continue to work with him in firmly becoming one of Canada’s bright new starts."
