· In the past nine NNS races held at Michigan International Speedway, Bayne ranks fifth in quality passes with an average of 39.5 passes a race, sixth in laps run in the top 15 (432) and seventh in fastest drivers late in a run (173.74 mph). Bayne also ranks eighth in green flag passes (217), 10th in green flag speed (174.49 mph) and 10th in average running position (9.25), according to NASCAR’s loop data statistics.

· Bayne will also be behind the wheel of the No.21 Motorcraft / Quick Lane Ford Fusion for the Wood Brothers on Sunday afternoon in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS). In six previous NSCS starts at Michigan, Bayne has completed 83.8 percent (1,009 out of 1,204) laps at the two-mile oval.

· Bayne earned his best finish of 15th at Michigan International Speedway in the NSCS event here last year on June 16, 2013.

The Car
· The No.6 AdvoCare team will race chassis RK-811 on Saturday afternoon in Michigan. This chassis previously raced at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif. on March 22, finishing ninth.

Recapping Dover
· Bayne started the 200-Lap event at Dover (Del.) International Speedway from the fifth position. After restarting in the fourth position following the final caution period of the afternoon, Bayne was able to maneuver his way into second and record his first runner-up finish of the 2014 season. With the result, Bayne remains fourth in the championship standings, trailing leader Regan Smith by 27 points.

Bayne on racing at Michigan International Speedway:
“I really like racing at Michigan International Speedway. It is a Ford racetrack so it is a big weekend for us since it’s in their backyard. We’ve also run pretty well the last couple of races there so I’m confident that Chad (Norris) and the guys will give me a strong No.6 AdvoCare Ford this weekend to get another win here for Ford. Plus, I’m definitely excited about running double duty this weekend for the Wood Brothers in the Cup series.”

Crew Chief Chad Norris on Michigan:
“We’ve got a lot of momentum right now with our No.6 AdvoCare team. All our guys are excited and fired up over our second-place finish at Dover and we’re all really looking forward to racing this weekend in Michigan. Trevor has run well there as of late and I’m confident that we will be able to give him a strong No.6 Ford Mustang this Saturday.”
