Tricky Triangle Recap...Allgaier completed his first NSCS race at Pocono Raceway last week. It was his first time racing at Pocono since winning the 2008 ARCA race. Allgaier and the No. 51 team tested for two days at the 2.5-mile track back in May. On Friday, the No. 51 BRANDT team advanced to the second round of knockout qualifying, earning Allgaier the 24th starting spot. He was able to lead six laps in the No. 51 BRANDT Chevy at Pocono, increasing his NSCS career total to 10. After 160 laps of racing at the Tricky Triangle, he completed the Pocono 400 in the 27th position for HScott Motorsports.

Meet Justin...After NSCS practice on Saturday, June 14, Allgaier will head to Plymouth Speedway, located in Plymouth, Ind., to race his dirt car. Gates and grandstands open at 4:00 p.m. On Sunday, June 15, at 10:15 a.m. Allgaier will appear for a question and answer session at the Chevy Stage located in the MIS fan zone.

Sunoco Rookie of the Year...After graduating to the NSCS this season, Allgaier is competing for Sunoco Rookie of the Year honors in the No. 51 Carcoon USA Chevy. In 2009, Allgaier took home the Rookie of the Year title in the NNS. After Pocono, Allgaier is currently third in the standings, behind Kyle Larson and Austin Dillon.

Justin Allgaier on Michigan International Speedway:
"I enjoy going to Michigan [International Speedway]. It's a very fast two-mile track, and it's wide so it provides a lot of different racing lines. If you car isn't handling quite like you want it, you have multiple lines to try and that can be a big advantage during the race. It's also close to Chevy's headquarters so there's a little extra pressure to make sure we run really well at their home track."

Crew Chief Steve Addington on Michigan International Speedway:
"We've been making gains every week at HScott Motorsports. We just need to keep plugging away this weekend. Justin's raced at Michigan [International Speedway] a few times in ARCA and Nationwide, but this weekend will be his first time in a Sprint Cup car, so he'll have to adjust to having more horsepower here."
