2014 Le Mans 24: Weathertech Racing Sixth With Six Left At Le Mans 24

WeatherTech Racing is 18 hours into the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Cooper MacNeil and Jeroen Bleekemolen have not put a wheel wrong to this point in the race behind the wheel of the No. 79 WeatherTech Racing Porsche RSR prepared by ProSpeed Competition. The pair are classified in sixth in LMGTPRO with six hours remaining.

With the sun rising at 6 a.m. central Europe time, the duo of Jeroen Bleekemolen (Monte Carlo) and Cooper MacNeil (Hinsdale, Ill.) are three-quarters of the way through their Le Mans adventure. There were no real dramas for the team through the night. They survived two punctures before night fall, but neither MacNeil or Bleekemolen have made a mistake even though they have both done triple stints all evening.

"I saw my first Le Mans sunrise from behind the wheel," MacNeil said. "I got in when it was dark and then drove through the transition from light to dark, which was pretty cool. The glare hit me in the Dunlop Curves and again coming onto the Mulsanne, but it was no problem. The car is still running strong and I feel good. Be back just before noon. We are running sixth, but there is still nearly two TUDOR length races left."

Bleekmolen knows there is a lot of racing and driving left to do.

"Everything is running normal and smooth," Bleekemolen said. "The only thing is you have to be careful in the traffic, but that is usual here at Le Mans. It was quite cool at night so that made it a little easier. It is supposed to be close to 80 degrees during the day today, so our work is not done. We are going to have to work hard for this finish."

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is being televised live, in its entirety, on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2 until its completion at 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday.

FOX Sports Broadcast Schedule (subject to change; all times ET):
Sunday, June 15 - 1:00 AM to 7:30 AM (FOX Sports 1, LIVE)
Sunday, June 15 - 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM (FOX Sports 2, LIVE)
*Entire race streamed LIVE on FOX Sports GO
