Turner Scott Motorsports NKNPSE Preview: Langley Speedway

Langley Speedway...The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) heads to Langley Speedway for the ninth race of the 2014 season. Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) comes into the Visit Hampton 175 coming off the organization's fourth victory of 2014 and third in a row by Ben Rhodes at Five Flags Speedway. Brandon Jones and Cameron Hayley finished second and third respectively, scoring TSM a 1-2-3 finish. Kaz Grala and Scott Heckert suffered from late-race incidents that ultimately hindered their overall finishing positions. Four out of the five TSM drivers will be making their first-career NKNPSE starts at Langley Speedway this weekend. Grala, Jones, Rhodes and Hayley all look to make their first start at the 0.395-mile oval, while Heckert has one previous start at Langley in 2013. Grala, Heckert, Rhodes and Hayley all tested at Langley Speedway a few weeks ago leading into this upcoming race weekend.

Kaz Grala...Grala enters the Visit Hampton 175 looking to rebound from a disappointing finish in Pensacola. The youngest driver in the NKNPSE field suffered from a flat tire on the final lap at Five Flags Speedway while running in the top 10, resulting in a 16th-place finish for Grala. The 15-year-old looks to rebound in his first-career start at Langley Speedway this weekend. Grala comes into the Visit Hampton 175 sitting 11th in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.

Kaz Grala on racing at Langley Speedway:
"Langley is a unique racetrack that took some getting used to for me. Luckily, we tested there, which gave me the opportunity to learn the track prior to the event. In the test, we made strides to improve our No. 31 OzLINK Chevy, which will only continue when we arrive for the race. Hopefully by race time I will be comfortable on track and have a fast car underneath me."

Brandon Jones...Jones heads into the Visit Hampton 175 with a ton of momentum on the No. 33 team's side. The 17-year-old grabbed a career-best finish in the NKNPSE a week ago at Five Flags and has compiled four straight top-10 finishes in the last four races. Jones looks to keep the momentum rolling as the 17-year-old makes his first-career NKNPSE start at Langley Speedway this weekend. Jones enters the Visit Hampton 175 currently fourth in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.

Brandon Jones on his first-career NKNPSE start at Langley Speedway:
"We have been on quite a roll as of late, and I think it's only going to continue at Langley. I wasn't able to test with my teammates a few weeks back, but I still think we are going to have a solid racecar this weekend. I know the No. 33 Wolfpack Energy Services team will give me a strong racecar and hopefully we can bring home another solid finish."

Scott Heckert...Heckert comes into the Visit Hampton 175 looking for a momentum shift. The 20-year-old was involved in a late-race accident last weekend after some competitors got together in front of him in the race's closing laps. The incident resulted in an 17th-place finish. Heckert looks to get the 2014 campaign back on track at Langley Speedway this weekend, as the CT native will make his second-career start at the 0.395-mile oval. In Heckert's only start at Langley in 2013, he started 19th and finished 15th. Heckert enters the Visit Hampton 175 currently 14th in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.

Scott Heckert on the upcoming race at Langley Speedway:
"We learned a lot when we tested at Langley a few weeks ago. I know we'll unload fast out of the box, so I'm looking forward to the race. Hopefully we can bounce back from a tough break a week ago at Five Flags. I can't begin to thank all the guys back at the Turner Scott Motorsports shop enough for getting this car back together for us in such a short time."

Ben Rhodes...Rhodes rolls into the Visit Hampton 175 coming off three-straight NKNPSE victories, with the most recent earned at Five Flags Speedway a week ago. Rhodes looks to continue his streak as the NASCAR Next driver gears up for his first-career start in the NKNPSE at Langley Speedway. Rhodes enters the Visit Hampton 175 leading the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings by 55 points.

Ben Rhodes on racing at Langley Speedway:
"I have some race experience at Langley Speedway, but not in a K&N car. I raced there in Legends a few years back, and last year I raced in a [NASCAR] Whelen All-American Series Late Model Stock race. I did go there with Turner Scott Motorsports last year to watch and learn, and a few weeks ago we had a great test session, so I am looking forward to going there and seeing what we can do this weekend."

Cameron Hayley...Hayley comes into the Visit Hampton 175 coming off a successful trip to Pensacola. Hayley was able to shake the bad luck that has bitten the No. 98 team so far in 2014 by leading laps and bringing home a third-place finish. Hayley looks to keep the streak rolling as the 17-year-old get set for his first-career NKNPSE start at Langley Speedway. Hayley currently sits third in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.

Cameron Hayley on this weekend's race at Langley Speedway:
"This is a great weekend to keep things rolling after our top-five finish at Five Flags Speedway. I'm looking forward to Langley this weekend, where I know we can build on our success from a week ago. We had a great test there a few weeks ago, and I know my entire No. 98 Cabinets by Hayley team can get the car dialed in and give us a shot at the victory."
