Isaac Tutumlu has finished second today in the free practice sessions of the International GT Open taking place at the Circuito de Jerez. Behind the wheel of the Chevrolet Corvette C6/ZR1 shared with Maxime Soulet, Tutumlu has set a fastest lap of 1:45.577 in FP2 and was second in the today´s cumulative ranking. It was a strong outing for the driver competing under the Barzani Racing Team banner having two races ahead for the reminder of the weekend.

"It is great to have this sort of start, because I have finished on top in the second free practice session and 2nd overall today. We have a pretty competitive car for both qualifying sessions but we know how difficult these races are going to be. Tire wear is massive here and there are three seconds differences depending on you are on new tires or old tires. So it is crucial to complete a good qualifying session in order to manage tire wear throughout the race", Tutumlu explains.

After the qualifying sessions scheduled in the morning, race one (70 minutes) is due to start at 16.00.
