Thanks to this success Lilja reinforces his lead in the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe and moved into the lead also to the National ACI / CSAI Abarth Selenia Trophy Italy, followed by a single point by Luca Anselmi and Alex Campani, both at the second place.

After the green light, poleman Lilja started badly and was overtook by Campani, Anselmi and Giacon. The four shaped an exciting fight, with Campani that seemed to have the upper hand in the early rounds and, behind him, the battle for second place turn out to be really hot between Anselmi, Lilja and Giacon. The latter, after having crossed the finish line of the fourth round, trying an impossible attack at the hairpin and went off the track, knocking hard Anselmi and forcing him to retire.

Then, Lilja began his Campani's hunt, which ended during the final part of the race with Niklas that passed the Italian forerunner just before the checkered flag. And after a huge fight, Buffoli reached the third place, followed by Moncini.
Another Swedish hero dominated the scene among the Abarth 500 Assetto Corse, with final winner Robin Appelqvist engaged throughout the race in a tough duel with Finnish racer Jusso Pajuranta. Tomorrow (Sunday 22nd of June) the second race will start at 3pm.
