Just like 2012 and 2013, Bowe topped the timesheets in both practice sessions and qualifying to sit his 1969 Trans Am Mustang Sally on pole position.

He then went on to win the opening 10-lap race from long time rivals Jim Richards, (Falcon) and Andrew Miedecke (Camaro), the sole GM car in the top seven. Fourth went to Keith Kassulke (Falcon), from Cameron Mason, (Mustang) Tony Karanfilovski (Mustang) and Adam Bressington (Falcon) rounding out the top seven.

In the second 10 lap encounter which saw the top ten grid positions reversed, Bowe crossed the line in fifth place.

Victory on this occasion went to Mark King (Camaro) from Bressington, Richards, Kassulke, Bowe and Eddie Abelnica (Falcon). Once again it was various Ford models that made up five of the top six places.

The third and final 10-lap race of the weekend saw Bowe lead every lap to win the race and the round, giving him his Hidden Valley hat trick.

Bowe was followed across the line by Richards, race two winner King, Kassulke, Miedecke and in sixth, Brett Youlden (Monaro).

A delighted John Bowe said: “That was a very satisfying weekend and I’d like to thank Steve Makarios and his team at Synergy Race Engines for giving me such a great car all year and once again this weekend.

“It's great to see Greg Crick back at the track and he did a great job as our driver standards officer over the weekend. But I know everyone in the Masters would rather see him on track in his Charger and hopefully that will happen at the next round”.
