2014 Austria GP: Formula One F1 LIVE Race Stream - Rosberg Moves To The Front

By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers

Pitstops have begun for Formula One F1 2014 Austria Grand Prix GP at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria. The Mercedes cars of Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton were first in with Felipe Massa - leader of the race - pitting a lap later. Rosberg and his No. 6 Mercedes would return to track and supplant Massa in the lead after a quick outlap. Hamilton and his No. 44 Mercedes would make a brilliant pass to take second.

Bottas would pit fourth out of the leaders, and come out ahead of Hamilton after a brilliant 2.1 second pitstop by the Williams team. The field is so close at the front, that the slightest loss of time during the in-lap, the pitstop, and the out-lap is very costly.

The current order is Sergio Perez (McLaren) - hasn't pitted yet - Nico Rosberg, Valtteri Bottas, Lewis Hamilton and Felipe Massa. These are the cars fighting for the win.

Pirelli have brought the soft (yellow) and super soft (red) tyres for the weekend. Each driver must use each compound at least once during the race.
