"We started last position in the semi-finals, I ended up finishing in second place and making my way into the finals. We were really fast and during the second lap the turbo broke halfway through the lap. I thought we had fixed it, but didn't fix it and at the start of the final we ended up stalling and losing a bunch of positions in the No. 77 7UP Volkswagen. With no turbo the whole race, it was rough to get around. With the way the weekend way, to come in sixth and get those points is good considering the weekend we have had with our mechanical issues. Onwards and upwards, the car still has a lot of speed and we'll battle back in New York."

Tanner Foust, No. 34 Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen Polo
• Advanced to the final round after finishing first in the Last Chance Qualifier
• Finished the third round of the Global Rallycross season in fifth place

" The take away from this weekend is that we get to walk away with some points after taking fifth and sixth place. Hats off to the team, the Andretti crew worked unbelievably hard and replaced two engines on Saturday night and rebuilt a gearbox - it almost looked impossible. With only one spare engine in the truck, the team had to do some amazing work to get both cars back up and running. Some of our problems persisted in the final round, but we still managed to take away some points - incredible after our experience yesterday. Proud of the Andretti Autosport team this weekend, these guys took the copper out of a hammer and turned it into a bearing for one of the engines. Before you know it, Sunday morning we're winning heats and lining up for the final. What a tough weekend, but now we can look forward to New York and we can make sure the Rockstar Energy Drink Volkswagen comes out fighting."
