Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3 rolls on to the Netherlands

After two important days of testing at MotorLand Aragon, the Junior Team GO&FUN Moto3 left Spain to head this weekend to the Netherlands: Saturday, June 28th is in fact scheduled the eighth Grand Prix of the season at the famous Assen TT circuit, the so-called “Cathedral” of motorcycling.

After a brilliant second place finish at the Circuit de Catalunya, Enea Bastianini is willing to confirm himself at the top on a track on which he has already raced with good results last year in the MotoGP Rookies Cup, while his team-mate, Niccolò Antonelli, is looking forward to Assen, reassured by two positive race simulations completed at MotorLand Aragon: the 18-year-old rider from Cattolica managed to put in many kilometers in Spain, regaining confidence with his KTM after the recent withdrawals.

NICCOLO' ANTONELLI “The two days of testing in Aragon helped me a lot to regain confidence with the bike after the withdrawal of the last Grand Prix: I was able to cover many laps thanks to two good race simulations, so now I can’t wait to get back in the saddle and start the Assen race weekend!”.

ENEA BASTIANINI “Assen is a very nice track: in 2013 I raced there with the MotoGP Rookies Cup obtaining good results, considering that I had never seen before the circuit. Now, with this bike, I’ll need to change a little bit my references, but I expect to be fighting again for the top positions”.

FAUSTO GRESINI “We head to Assen after a great race by Bastianini and a very important test: in Aragon both our riders worked very well and finally Niccolò was able to cover many kilometers, simulating two Grands Prix; so we hope that in the Netherlands it could start a positive trend for him. With regard to Enea, we are all obviously very happy of what he's doing, even if we don’t want to create too many expectations: he’s still very young, so I think that the most important thing for him now is to stay focused and get the right experience”.
