ENERGY Corse - Energy On Course For The Podium

Race after race, Energy Corse confirms its membership of the small circle of major international teams. Each new event is an opportunity for the Italian team to demonstrate its expertise, its polished presentation and the high quality of its equipment. The start of the European Championships in recent weeks have again highlighted the potential of the drivers and their management, with several podiums to celebrate!

The European Championship, WSK, Italian Championship, German Championship, Rotax National Championships, preparation testing ... Energy Corse has been working on all fronts since the beginning of the season to propel the drivers to peak performance whatever the difficulties. "Every season is different and no race is like any other, so karting requires constant questioning and Energy Corse has the experience to adapt to any situation," says Mick Panigada, the team manager. "This year, for example, the tyres are different from what we have experienced before. Similarly, the engine requires adjustments. Development work has been relentless in recent months, so we are always ready to meet our goals in order to grow our list of results even further."

Double top-3 in KZ2 at La Conca
May started well, with a podium in KF for Egor Stupenkov and Dominik Schmidt in KZ2 during a round of the German Championship. Unfortunately, success has not always been possible in the European KF and KF-Junior Championships, for the American Juan Correa, the Italian Leonardo Pulcini, the Romanian Rokas Baciu?ka o r the Ge rman Moritz Horn.

Energy quickly renewed the brand with the podium for Francesco Celenta in the Italian KZ2 Championship at La Conca. He took the pole position, retained the leadership in the heats, before finishing third and second in the finals. The title is already in sight!

A magnificent rise for Juodvirsis
On 13th, 14th and 15th June, Energy Corse was at Genk in Belgium for the opening of the European KZ2 Championship. The Champ ion in 2 012 in Energy colours, the Lithuanian Simas Juodvirsis set off to attack for the title. His performances did not go unnoticed, as Juodvirsis fought for the lead in the pre-final 1, when he got caught up and dropped to midfield. In the final, he achieved the most beautiful climb, with a gain of 24 places to reach 5th place! Laying 4th in the standings in the European Championship, he has every chance to contest the title in the coming races.

Ricardo Romkema's final - although he qualified 6th - was disrupted by too many incidents, while Michele Di Martino (Energy Germany) ended up back in 13th position just ahead of Dominik Schmidt. The potential is there ...
