Juncos Racing All Set for the Grand Prix of Houston


Continuing to lead the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, Juncos Racing is ready to take on the second half of the season starting with Rounds 8 and 9 at the Grand Prix of Houston this weekend. All Juncos Racing drivers sit inside the Top-10 in the championship standings with Spencer Pigot leading the Pro Mazda Championship.

The Grand Prix of Houston will feature 10-turns on a 1.7 mile street course around one of Houston’s famous landmarks, Reliant Park. Round 8 takes place on Saturday at 1:05PM CST and Round 9 is set for 1:00PM CST on Sunday.

Team Owner, Ricardo Juncos, says his team is ready to finish strong in the second half of the 2014 season and continue to battle for the 2014 Pro Mazda Championship.

“We have been working really hard this past month in preparation for a tough battle in the championship,” said Juncos. “Everyone from the drivers to crew have been working hard to prepare physically and mentally. There is no room for mistakes in the championship. I want to thank all of the drivers, crew, fans, sponsors, and families for all of their support and hard work.”

The 2014 Pro Mazda Championship Presented by Cooper Tires continues this week with Rounds 8 and 9 in the Grand Prix of Houston June 28-29th.
