" Today was good! We ended up P2 in the second practice which is great. Other than that, we have a little bit to work on here and there, but the Lander Property Management/DaVinci Foods car should be good for tomorrow. The track here in Houston seems to have improved a lot from last year; they did a good job smoothing it out, and I really enjoy coming to this race."

Starstruck

Shelby Blackstock, No. 28 Starstruck

Practice One: P10 at 1:11.2536

Practice Two: P12 at 1:10.9882

Overall: P12 at 1:10.9882

Best start on the streets of Houston is second (Pro Mazda, 2013)

"Unfortunately our day of practice did not go the way we wanted it to, but we'll work tonight to prepare for tomorrow's qualifying. We are behind the ball a bit, but I'm sure the Starstruck crew will make some gains overnight and qualify strong."
