Petty on Kentucky Speedway: "It’s incredibly bumpy and incredibly rough. All race tracks have bumps…there are always bumps that give the race track character. This place [Kentucky] has got way too much character."

Petty on NASCAR’s new Chase format: "I think what NASCAR has done with ‘Win and you’re in’ [format] is the greatest thing that’s come along in this sport in the last few years. There’s going to be a certain group that’s going to fight for those last spots because I don’t believe we’re going to see 16 different winners."

Dallenbach on No. 18 Kyle Busch: "Kyle Busch is probably one of the best cars out there. I’m not sure he’s as good as Brad [Keselowski] in traffic, but he’s certainly close."

Petty on No. 31 Ryan Newman: "Newman is having the best race they’ve [Richard Childress Racing] had all year long."

Petty on No. 88 Dale Earnhardt, Jr.: "They [JR Motorsports] haven’t been happy with where they’ve been but they keep plugging along. That’s been their M.O. this year. Dale Earnhardt Jr. has never given up on his team or where they are. That’s why he’s there week in and week out."

Dallenbach on No. 24 Jeff Gordon: "Jeff Gordon has a better car than what he ran tonight."

**** **** **** **** TNT NASCAR Summer Series - Post-race Remarks

Chris Neville interviews NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from Kentucky presented by KFC winner No. 2 Brad Keselowski

Keselowski on his win: "It’s one of those races where you know you’ve got a fast car…and you’re waiting for something to go wrong and it didn’t. The car was that great. It’s just an incredible feeling to have a car this fast. I hope we can keep it this fast, I really want another championship. We’re getting close to that if we keep running like this."

Matt Yocum interviews No. 88 Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Earnhardt, Jr. on racing at Kentucky: "This place is a handful for me and I haven’t quite figured it out yet. I don’t know what I’m looking for or how I need the car to drive."

Marty Snider interviews No. 24 Jeff Gordon

Gordon on his performance: "I’m disappointed, I thought we were going to be better than that…we had some issues and got behind. The car was pretty decent at the end but not enough to move up. I thought we made the most of what happened to us tonight."
