Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates

SCOTT PRUETT: "It’s just unfortunate. All the stuff that happened today. We’re really disappointed. Obviously, at the end, we were just looking to get to the checkered flag. The car that hit me (with less than 15 min. to go in the race) lost its breaks, just pile-drived me. I understand those things happen. I’m just disappointed for the whole organization. For Telmex, Telcel and Ford, especially for Ganassi (Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates). It’s a lot of work for the guys. We’ll keep at it. We’ll keep going. We all have those days. You hate them, but you’ll have them. Hopefully from here on out it’ll be somewhat smoother sailing."

SAGE KARAM: "It was just a bad day for our team. We really want to bring home a good result for these guys because they work so hard. It’s just unfortunate that things like happen and take us out of contention for the win. We got the car back out there at nine laps down (after an early incident with the No. 73 GTD sent the 01 behind the wall) and did my stint and had a lot of fun out there. I felt pretty good, actually. The car was pretty quick when I was out there. That’s why it’s kind of a heartbreaker, because we knew we could’ve been quick if we were still on the lead lap, but these things happen in racing and we’ve just got to move forward."

No. 60 Dunn Tire Ford EcoBoost Riley

Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian

OZZ NEGRI: "We don't want to be battling from the back to the front every time. But it is what it is. We gave our best and drove our hardest and that's all I can say. We gotta do our stuff and get ready for the next race… (It was) very, very tough. We don’t give up. We keep pushing hard. We kept at it with what we had and it was one of those days that you want to forget the bad things and just keep the good things."

MIKE SHANK (Team Owner): "Well, that's the end of a miserable weekend for us. We'll move on. I have to thank Ozz (Negri) and John (Pew) for not stopping, not giving up on this whole process."
