Angell Park Speedway Set To Host The 33rd Annual Pepsi Nationals


Angell Park Speedway is set to continue the tradition of hosting the Pepsi Nationals. The two-day event will take place for its 33rd time on Saturday, July 5th and Sunday, July 6th. A full field of tough competitors is expected to compete, as the race is co-sanctioned by POWRi, USAC, and Badger.

A complete program of racing is scheduled each night, with a 30-lap feature taking place on Saturday. Additionally, fireworks will be launched at Angell Park Speedway on Saturday night following the feature event. The massive fireworks display is sponsored by Budweiser.

Sunday's event will also include a 30-lap feature and the 2014 Pepsi Nationals Champion will be crowned. Additionally, the popular Pepsi "Lets Make a Deal" fan activities will take place during Sunday's event on the front stretch.

Also competing both nights will be the Badger 600 Micros. Spectator gates open at 4;30 pm, with practice at 6:00 pm, followed by racing. General admission is $20, students, ages 12-18, are $15, and children 12 and under are FREE.
