This Week's Silverado...The No. 50 Drivin For Linemen team will unload the chassis named “Babe” for this weekend's race at Iowa. Babe was last on the track two weeks ago at Kentucky where TJ Bell drove it to a twenty-fifth place finish.

A New Command… The #50 Drivin for Linemen team will be headed up by a new crew chief starting in Iowa. Kenny Evans will be leading the team, he is a veteran in the racing community. Kenny’s past truck experience includes the teams of Bobby Hamilton, Andy Petrey, and JTG Daugherty. He most recently was the car chief on the #98 Sprint Cup Series car of PPR. “I had this opportunity to come to MAKE and work with these great people, Mark & Tracy, along with the team. I am glad to be able to help turn around the MAKE program and show what this team is able to do.” Stated Kenny. Randy Dean will still stay on as a competition director.

Drivin for Linemen... The Drivin’ For Linemen campaign, is the brainchild of a former electrical linemen. His concern and priority is to honor all electrical linemen, past, present, future, and fallen. He is committed to the cause of raising the awareness of what linemen do and how we wouldn’t have one of our most basic necessities now without them. The linemen work around the clock risking their lives in good and bad weather. They are now listed as a first responder. The Drivin’ For Linemen banner is carried out through the MAKE Motorsports team along with the Drivin’ for linemen 200 held at Gateway Motorsports Park.

Extra Support... The #50 Chevrolet Silverado will sport ACC Transport LLC on the rear quarter panels. ACC Transport LLC is the Elite company that delivers Utility Equipment on a Nationwide scale in a safe and timely manner to the men and women of our country who work diligently to keep the lights on, and the cell phones charging.

Joining In… The #50 Drivin’ for Linemen Chevrolet will add a new associate sponsor for Iowa, Knowledge Vine. Knowledge Vine LLC is an industry leader in Human Performance and Safety Management focused on adult learning to facilitate behavioral and cultural changes within your organization. Whether it be building a Human Performance system from the ground up or refining processes which are already in place, Knowledge Vine is ready to partner with your team to increase safety and maximize productivity.

Watch and Listen...The American Ethanol can be seen live on Friday, July 12th on FOX Sports 1. Race coverage will begin at 8 p.m. EDT, and the event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
