Avf Shows Good Potential In F Renault 3.5 Practice At The Nurburgring

As the World Series by Renault and the Formula Renault 3.5 series approached their sixth round of the season at the world-famous Nurburgring GP racetrack, AVF by Adrián Vallés was off to a learning day, as it was the first time for the team at the venue. While due to this morning's thick fog things got a little trickier and both practice sessions were trimmed in length, the outcome was a busy but proficient day of work.

Young Swissman Zoel Amberg managed to get close to the top-10 in the morning despite some gearbox woes but showed an aggressive attitude in the afternoon in an attempt to recover the ground lost. Unfortunately, his efforts were hampered by small off at turn five. Nonetheless, everything seem set for a smooth experience tomorrow.

Young female racer Beitske also had good vibes from the German racetrack, where she already ran twice in Formel ADAC, although she had an eventful second session which included high traffic runs and yellow flags. Anyway, she posted good laptimes even with old tires and proved she can improve even further tomorrow.

Visser and Amberg now looking forward to take up the challenge tomorrow morning in Qualifying 1, which will be followed by Race 1 at 12:35.

Zoel Amberg - S1 P12 - S2 P22
"In the morning session we struggled a bit with the gearbox, and in the second I pushed very hard. Maybe a little too much as I had an off in turn 5 that cost me valuable time. The set-up of the car is good though so I look forward to a good run tomorrow".

Beitske Visser - S1 P18 - S2 P17
"The second session, which was the fastest one, has been a little messy with the yellow flags and traffic. In the first run I flatspotted my tires, but then I went back on-track with very old ones and the car felt good. Then in the closing part of the day I caught a yellow flag when I was pretty fast. I think we can put it all together and aim for a good result tomorrow".
